Update: The plan for installing a light at the Winnicut and Bayside Road intersection of Route 33 is on schedule.
The bids for the work went out in December after the state obtained the necessary permits for wetlands and shorelines. According to the Department of Transportation, the project is on schedule to begin this spring/summer with a completion date of August 2010.
